Many people have asked me if I sleep. I do have a little more gray in my hair than my picture shows, but who has time to sleep when there is so many fantastic things going on in the Internet marketing world? Especially on facebook!!
For months marketers have been bugging me to develop something to build fan pages.
Well, like LandingPages, which was conceived out of the first Google slap back in the summer of 2009 to get people back on PPC with their own website, fanOpus was conceived because facebook has become a competing giant that should be pursued with intensity. I believe if google doesn't want the home business industry working their right column, that thousands of people searching for what we have to offer will go to the next big thing.
So I got to work, researching what current tools are available to help people get a fan page on facebook. Most of what I found that was partially automated were systems where the user fills in a multitude of options, uploads images and then copies and pastes the HTML code into the facebook FBML box. This just wasn't what I had in mind as I believe in this day and age with Web 2.0 technology and countless API's there should be some kind of communication between systems.

What I did find in my research was a lot of great systems with seamless communication between the developers applications and facebook of every imaginable thing, games, shopping carts, you name it. This is what I was looking for! And this is what we're pursuing.
There is still a lot of work ahead of us as we continue to learn these new tools and code so that we will be able to offer a seamless, or near seamless connection between our system and your facebook fan page.
fanOpus is built on the LandingPages CMS (Content Management System). In fact, if you are a LandingPages user, you will not see a lot of difference in the administration of fanOpus. However, the website it produces is what I would call a true mini-site as it snuggles perfectly inside the facebooks fan page.
What this means is that instead of a simple page with links that take visitors away from facebook, you now control a powerful, feature reach website with navigation, operating within the facebook environment.
Because it is based on the LandingPages power-plant, themes, optin forms, all the stratagem marketing features, popups, banners, etc., all work seamlessly within facebook. And, to top it off, one system can be used for unlimited fan pages.
